Stardock Support

Whoa Big Fellah'

Tuesday, January 10, 2006 by PoSmedley | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Yesterday I sent an email to SD support, asking about the 'subpackage' feature in the new IP. Today I recieved no less than 13 emails stating they had received the email. When I sent them an email to let them know they were flooding my email box...I received a fourteenth stating they had received the first email.

For anyone who says SD Support never responds...can you tell me 'exactly' what you did to get them to stop.

Yup. I received three emails stating that one of my uploads was approved. At least they have a record of it.

hmmm...very odd indeed.  I wonder if the mail server had a hiccup and delivered your email to support multiple times, thus sending you multiple responses.  You don't have an auto-response on your email, do you?

No auto response. I use Thunderbird. As you can see at the top, I only sent one email. I just thought it was funny...especially when I see so many other posts that say SDS never responds.

Hmmm. I sent an email to them too, and I got a bunch of responses like that back too. Usually it's in groups of 3, about 20 min apart, a few times a day.

It appears that there was a mail server glitch last night that caused messages to get delivered several times, hence the multiple responses.  Of course, if you ever don't get an auto response at all, you can assume that your email never reached us.

All-righty then. It's been 3 days and no reply. I know they are busy. So I clicked on the link provided in the 'reply' email(s) to check the status of my request..and all I get is a blank page after logging in...with all 14 emails. I mean, they can't ALL have bad links, can they??
