iTunes Problem

I have a problem with iTunes. Opening it and listening to music is fine but closing it is weird. It re-opens by its self about 3 to 4 times and in between my computer is slow in every way. Internet, Memory, CPU, the lot!
Can someone tell the problem and how to fix it.
