Stupid Noob Question regarding Transparency

Tuesday, December 20, 2005 by MickoD | Discussion: WindowBlinds

Very first post using Stardock Central and recently started using WB for the first time in about 2 and a bit years...

Anyways, just wondering what is the situation with transparency and Window Blinds. I notice that the likes of the Caprice theme, as "WrightStuff" has suggested on this forum, has transparency features. Basically my question is this..

Is transparency dependant on whether there is transparency in the Skin/Theme you are using or can you actually have transparency in any skin?

I like the DogmaX4 Skin at the moment, but would like to play with the transparency features of WB also.

Any ideas for this stupid noob

Transparency levels are set by the skin. Caprice utilizes WB 5 features to have nice smooth rounded corners. I don't believe that skin is transparent. It has many other 5.0 features though.

Using Skinstudio you can customize the transparency levels to your liking though.

You'll need the latest RC of SKS to do transparency/tranluscency in window frames.
