Juming contents

Browser window jumps

Tuesday, December 6, 2005 by animalsciences | Discussion: WindowBlinds

Everytime I open a new tab or window in Firefox the contents of the window jumps. It usually goes away if I refresh. Any suggestions I am using a skin called reduction.

There is a known bug in Firefox itself which causes its contents to 'jump' with certain tab margin settings.  I would suggest you use a different skin as it will most likely have different settings & so avoid the problem.

And whenever it happens ... just minimize and re-maximize the window

I've had that happen in Firefox with much older versions of WB... When it happens, I've found it's usually due to a specific combination of WB skin and FFox skin (probably that results in certain tab margins as Neil has suggested). Change either the fox skin or the WB skin, and the problem goes away.
