Running tasks and system tray at the same time?

OD+ user (of course, I mean, it's a system tray question).
Is it possible to show the running tasks and the system tray in the same (untabbed) dock? If so, how? It's kind of bugging me that I need a whole second dock to show the system tray.
Also, I've got a bit of a problem with Java stuff. In the taskbar section, if I give one Java program a custom icon, all Java programs use it. I'm trying to use Azureus and Eclipse at the same time, and they both have the same program name and window class because they're both Java apps using SWT. Is there any fix for this, or am I screwed?

uhm... this is kinda on the same topic but not really. i make a whole 'nother dock JUST for my system tray. but it doesn't show any system tray icons! all it has is start menu, "system command" that i can customize, and "quit objectdock". no systray icons. what am i doing wrong/missing? oh, and you can have tasks and systray in the same bar. u have to use this: https://www.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?SID=1&SkinID=3916&LibID=29

You need to open up Stardock Central and under the "Tools" menu choose "Settings" and on the "General" page make sure you have selected "Enable MCP Startup" and "Enable MCP notification area support" It should work then.

uhm... what's stardock central? i have stardock's objectdock, why would i need any other software?

OK, no SDC. check in Taskmanager and see if you have a process running called sdmcp.exe The process is required for Stardock products to display the systray.
If you don't have it, you'll want to go to www.stardock.com and download Stardock Central. It's the "front end" for all of their products. It's how you get your updates and register your software.

Arrrghhh ... look in C:\Program Files\Common Files\Stardock
You should have an SDMCP.exe there. DOuble click it, and restart OD+.
Set SDMCP to run at startup, and you'll be set.

You might want to follow Lantec's advice though..... SDC is handy for downloading updates, and archiving the software.

wow, i didn't think i had this installed at all. but lo and behold i had a sdmcp.exe in my processes tab under taskman. how is this possible? i just did a search of my computer (both hdd's C: and D:) and it didn't find anything for "sdmcp.exe" i don't get it. i can find updates myself, so what do i really need this software for? it makes no sense that it's running in taskman but it can't be found in my computer. i have all hidden files showing, all 'protected windows files' showing and all file extensions showing, as if that matters in this situation. i have a ghost program!
