I've noticed this before an never bothered to inquire about it though...
When you move your mouse through the choices it will go away....

Most often I see this on the dropdown menu for Favorites only. This is the first I have seen it on the All Pgms Menu.
FYI - The skin is Blackcomb included with WB5. Running at 1280x1024.

Not trying to beat a dead horse here, just updating...
I am seeing this with MANY skins now, and it happens with any sub-menu as well.
Once I slide the cursor up and down the menu, the border goes away only to return the next time I hit the start button.... help?

I get that when a per pixel menu with transparency is used. Only in the favorites though. I havent seen it in the all programs yet.

Craig, just tried it with a non transparent blind... same thing. Man... this sux.

Maybe this will help...
I just did a fresh install of WB5 and tested each of the default themes that come with it. All but 2 of them behave as they should. Here are the 2 culprits. I can't believe no one else experiences this.

I haven't seen it on All Programs, but I've been seeing it for quite a few versions on the Favorites menu. And it goes away after a pass with the mouse over the items in the menu or sometimes a reclick on Favorites to close and reopen it.
Figured it had something to do with the Favorites menu being a bit odd.

Yes, it goes away with a mouse pass, but comes back next time you open the start menu.
This is really stuck in my crawl and spoiling these great themes for me.
