you need to read the description of each suite.
for each item listed in the description you will need the software for it in order to use the skin.
each gallery has a link to needed software, in the gallery description box.
example: if the suite says it has WB, Icons, Rainy, Cursorxp - you will need the programs WindowBlinds, Iconpackager, Rainlendar, CursorXP installed to use all that's in that suite

bootskin. follow the link in the bootskin gallery. there is more than one version. bootskin doesn't work for everybody.

And, of course, ThemeManager to apply the suite file.

Check out all the software on the left pane. Then come back with specifics. As it is stated, your question is rather extensive in the answer you might get from those who are long-winded. I assume you already know about Wincustomize.com, when there click on the "Galleries" tab and on the left pane is another listing of software, but scroll to the word "more", click on this and yet another explanation of software available and where to download. You'll miss out on the real goodies if you decline purchasing the full versions. Object Desktop will give you access to a bundle of software that would likely interest you.
