Latest version or OD+?

Is there a way to find out if I have the latest version of OD+ & to get updates if I don't?

thx

Use Stardock Central > Misc section. But..... if you didn't use SDC to download and install OD+, it will show up as uninstalled. Latest version in SDC is 1.20.015, which in the About dialog (when you right click the OD+ tray icon) is 1.20.520u Plus.. Build 520u. (why is the numbering different you may ask........ I dunno, that's just Stardock's way).

CaptainWin ... did you download this via SDC, or by other means?

SDC says I have version 1.20a.015, updated July 21, 2005.

I bought OD+ on October 01, 2005 from Stardocks website. I downloaded the program from the download short cut given to me in the email sent to me the same day.

By the way, as I did not download from SDC it does not show that I even have OD. Hope this is the info you need.

1.20.522u Plus..Build 522u

Same info in my about dialog.

In SDC version 2.20.357:

ObjectDock Plus version 1.20a.015 listed as installed (I suspect this is the bad info).

Note - I always install using SDC.

You can still update via SDC (or at least I did) even though the initial download was via a link. You should still see it in the misc section (tools->register products->misc). You'll have to scroll down to it in the drop-down list.

If not maybe uninstall it manually (save all settings!) and see if it turns up in the SDC list.

If it does you should be able to click on it and enter the regstration number you got with your initial confirmation email. It should be all good to reinstall via SDC after that (confirm your install paths setup in SDC!).

It's been working like this for me since the early betas.

Same here as to version mismatch:

About OD+ dialog says version = 1.20.522u

SDC 2.20.357, Build 103, Misc says OD+ = 1.20a.015 (10/21/2004)

Been like that for more than a year now.

Thx guys.

So I assume there's no check for updates or easier way to tell if I have the latest, which I seem to at the moment.
