While I wasnt looking for the Australian one, I did try the above tip for Calgary, Canada. The Weather widget still does not show the curent weather here. It seems to be stuck on the current one (Mexico).
Any thoughts??

I am not behind a firewall currently. I do use a Router. The funny thing, and I've tried this with a few of the widgets, it's that it wont allow me to change the value in the field for the weather. I've gotten the code from weather.com, but, to no avail. Could it be the router?
I did use Konfabulator weather widget, and it worked no problem. This one though..grumble..

I may (After work) unplug the router and see if that affects it at all. I am at a lost.
And, I really want it to work!

Thanks for the help.

| Close the widget and clean out C:\Documents and Settings\User\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\DesktopX. |
To be clear User in the above directory structure is actually your username
e.g. for me: C:\Documents and Settings\Martin\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock\DesktopX
All my weather are designed to accept a city, country combo.
To find locations drill down from here: Link

So, obviously, that is probably the issue. No directory = problem. Now, I am unsure what to do.
Btw, thanks again for everyone trying to figure this out. It's nice to see a supportive community.

at what point in the path do you not have that folder/directory?
do you have your folder options marked to show 'hidden' - open a folder like 'my documents' - then in the menu - tools, folder options, 'view' tab, under 'hidden files and folders'

I do have the directory now. Should I clear everything out of the star dock directory? I did delete just the pictureque directory, but, the same problem occurs. It seems to be always stuck on the Greece.
THis is rather annoying. And, I am not a complete tool with computers.

When you search for a city in weather.com the code will appear in the address bar.
http://www.weather.com/outlook/travel/businesstraveler/local/ASXX0089?from=search_city <----- using this as an example for Perth, Australia the code in the address bar is ASXX0089. Just find the code for your location and change the weather object.
Hope this helps.
