DesktopX and the Shutdown Dialog

Tuesday, November 15, 2005 by wolepi | Discussion: DesktopX

This is just a question, and I couldn't find a post anywhere about this. I have an object on DesktopX that calls the shutdown dialog, but it shows the non-skinned version of the dialog. It's nothing big, but is there a way to show the skinned dialog? If I shutdown from the taskbar, it shows it. It seems kind of strange. Does anyone else have this?

It's not a problem, but if there's a way to show the skinned version, I haven't figured it out. Any comment will be appreciated.

You can always make your own....in DX, Gather some objects together representing Shut Down, Log Off etc. Use the System setting in "Object Type" properties, there are options for Windows Log Off, Windows Shutdown & Windows Restart, these don't throw the dialog box up...
