No Shellstyle Support?

Sunday, November 13, 2005 by Phoon | Discussion: WindowBlinds

Upon trying out some of the great new blinds out there, I discovered that my Shellstyles looked a tad odd. As a matter of fact, when I went to control panel in category view I was getting an error pop up box that said parse error '<' at line 1.
So, I went to SDC and removed windowblinds (ver 5), rebooted and re-installed. The pop up box did not appear, but alas, nor did custom shellstyles.
I have now de-stardocked my system (again) and will try fresh installs.

Anyone else having similar issues?

No problems at all Phoon. Running the absolute latest versions of WB and SKS. Any specific skin I can check out for comparison?

It happens with any skin Craig. (SIGH) I just de-stardocked completely and reinstalled WB. Still getting the parse error.
The only GUESS I have is that the last time I installed windows I used a custom Cd which I made with NLite. I pulled out Luna from the installation. I may have foo-bared my install. I just made a new CD, slipstreamed SP2 and my PID in it. Did not pull out anything.
See ya after the dreaded format/install proceedure.

I hate when you have to go through that!

Yeah, I've had a rash of that lately too. I'm not exactly sure why. My SD apps have not agreed too well with my system.
Even my work system does not agree with them. I have resorted to only running Multiplicity at work. I'll narrow it down one of these days to some small culprit. I'm sure it's not the SD products, I just have to find out what is causing the disagreement with them.
Anyone have any issues with PCCillin/TrendMicro and SD Products? That is a common factor I have at home and work.
