Different Desktop Configurations. 1 Place.

Sunday, November 6, 2005 by Vailene | Discussion: Community

Hey All,

Ok it's finally burned me. I need to ask this in forum format for others wondering the same thing as me. Seeing programs like Virtual Desktop and AltDesk, etc... Is there an active program out (like Virtual Desktop) to where you can apply WindowBlinds themes?.. Like on Virtual Desktop 1 I want Azenis and a certain IconPack, on Virtual Desktop 2 I want my wifes preference.. Standard Windows XP icons and look. Is this possible via any programs out?

Thanks much!,
Chris C.

I'm searching the web for something to what you are looking for, Laoran. I hadn't even thought of using different skins on different virtual desktops. I think its a great idea. Does LiteStep have that capability?

Ya know.. I don't even know. Haven't had hardly any experience with LiteStep. I know I could write a script for a different machine user to unload WBConfig and IconPackager. That would probably resolve the issue. But, I would like that Virtual Desktop functionality. Would be much easier as far as switching.
