WB5 and WB4 in Stardock Central

I use WB5 the last version 4.95(.012 date 04/11/2005
In Stardock Central I have the WB5 version and also the WB4 version 4.95(.012 date 08/08/2005
Is it normal or can I uninstall the WB4 ?

You need the WB4, I wouldn't uninstall.

There is a Show/Hide Applications feature in SDC. It is in one of the menus..... But you can have it hide WB4 so only WB5 shows.

Nooo PFM it's the same version. It just shows in one place as a Version 4 app and another as a version 5 beta. SDC will do this whenever a new version is on the cusp of being released. Once it gets a version 5 (5.0+) number you won't see the version 4 info anymore.

I think the reason why it still displays the wb version 4 as a separate program is that some people don't have the hardware necessary for wb5. The reason that for you, both are displayed as being installed is a kinda glitch; DO NOT uninstall wb4 because the two uninstallers (wb4 and wb5) are linked to the same files, if you uninstall wb4, wb5 will get uninstalled as well, and vice versa.

I uninstalled 4, rebooted then installed 5 and it works ok. Except I still can't use it on any account besides my own.

You should be able to run it under other user accounts.  We certainly have in testing!

Just run wbconfig to change the skin as normal.
