WB5-WindowFX

Conflict in the first public release.

Monday, October 31, 2005 by scorpio-logic | Discussion: WindowBlinds

When the WB5 beta was first released, there was a nice little txt with it saying that there was a compatibility issue with WindowFX. Has this been resolved? Or did I miss the memo whilest playing with the new gadgets in WB5?

Taken from the readme.txt file accompanying the WindowBlinds 5 Beta installation: "There will be a new WindowFX beta
shortly that's happier with the new WindowBlinds features." So we have to wait until this update before they will play nicely together

Thanks, I am trying WindowFX out anyway. Although, I am using it without the transitional effects-dragging/min/max/rest types.

I'm not sure where specifically the conflict lies, but all I have to say is tread carefully!

yeah, that experiment is over....weird shading effect on active window and buttons all weirded out. No more of that, I'll wait for the new one.
