And here we are again facing yet another hurricane.
As of 10:30 pm the storm has reached cat 3 strength and after spending most of the day putting up shutters and buying supplies, I am now drained and bored out of my mind. Hopefully we won’t loose power but I seriously doubt that.
So for all those that reside on the southern part of the Florida state, be cautious and be safe.

Cleaned out roof gutters this morning. Put anything that will fly up in the garage or house. Locked the dogs up, Filled up all the gas cans, and I got the generator oil changed. Wife washed all the laundry, been making ice all day, scrubbed several garbage cans clean an then dosed them with clorox. I filled them, both bathtubs, and anything else that will hold water up. Used all available space in the chest freezer for ice. Replaced batteries in all the flashlights. Moved the vehicles out from under the trees. Took a nice long shower. Then the rains started...

Strange....I just posted on this and a few other threads, earlier this evening I posted about the lack of updates on the forum, yet when I check I don't see any of my own posts.
