Imagine you are in a relationship and someone tells you that your significant other is cheating on you. Suddenly you are very unsure. I would guess that could be an example.

If that was the case, I wouldn't be unsure. I would be very "sure" that I'm not in a relationship any longer. Especially, after throwing his cat and computer out the window.

How is this old news? It hasn't been until just recently that this has been changed, as far as I know anyway.
