Stardock Systems, Inc., a provider of desktop enhancement software, is seeking a Microsoft .NET Web Application Developer to develop and maintain the company's community websites and web-based services.  The ideal candidate must have a minimum of 2+ years experience in both web application development experience and object oriented programming.

 

Job Description:

 

  • Developer will work on reusable class components, new application modules, and provide support and incremental patches to existing projects.
  • The developer will work in a team environment but must also be able to work well independently.

 

Minimum Qualifications: 

 

  • Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent
  • 2+ years of demonstrated experience with ASP.NET, ASP, VB.Net, ADO.NET, 2+ .NET Framework
  • Working knowledge of 3-Tier application development
  • Proficient with HTML, XML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Solid understanding of SQL relational databases
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong problem solving skills
  • Understanding of MS SQL 2000, Photoshop, COM or Flash is a plus

No no, I dont think horizon meant that in a bad way! Its just kind of of an internal conflict to have to leave where you are to work for a great company like Stardock. I'd love to make the move but I'm currently in school right now. Mind you, knowing asp.net might be a good asset for me to have for the job too.

I mean in the sense that the requirement of living in Michigan rules me out by default of even bothering to send a resume, by the way your glare tag is coded improperly.
