Windows Taskbar

Where has it gone?!?!

Hi, I recently unInstalled DesktopX, however I am now finding that my taskbar is dissappearing when I open an application eg. Word or Internet Explorer (when maximized).
Does anyone know how I can solve this problem.

Right click the Task Bar and choose Properties from the pop up menu choices. In the first tab of the Properties window (labeled Task Bar), make sure that you have the box next to "Keep the Task Bar on top of other windows" checked. Make sure to click the Apply Button at the bottom. This will keep the maximized windows from going over top of the Task Bar.
