If you are referring to a system recovery included by the manufacturer of your computer, then it will restore your computer back to the factory installed Operating System, and Software that came with the computer.

Any software programs you installed after purchase will need to be reinstalled manually.

For Object Desktop programs and WinCustomize subscription and browser, you will need to install Stardock Central and use it to register your products and install the programs.

I wrote a mini tutorial on Installing Object Desktop, which covers all the basics http://corkyo.wincustomize.com/Articles.aspx?SID=5463&AID=83625

Note - if you are referring to a "System Restore" (the system tool that is included with Windows XP), it will depend how far back you go for the restore point. If you restore to a point before installing Object Desktop and/or WinCustomize, you will need to procede with the Stardock Central installation, and then Object Desktop and WinCustomize items.

If you restore to a point after installing the programs, they will still be in place, and you would only need to backup any skins/themes downloaded after the restore point.

I think he is asking how to get his Stardock apps back starting from a recently recovered PC. If you go here https://www.stardock.com/sdnet_login.asp and enter your e-mail addy and password it will lead you to the download page.

I might be wrong about the question, though.

From there, Corky covers it all with his tutorial in detail.
