Top Advocates: September 2005

Advocates are users whose skins, themes, wallpapers, icons, forum posts, articles attract visitors from other sites. When someone comes to WinCustomize.com from another site through a link, the user who created what is linked to receives an advocacy point. Top advocates are elligible to receive random WC goodies.
This month, well, I kicked butt. 
That was because of the Microsoft PDC coverage (ex) which got a lot of people to come over (271,405 clicks to WC from other sites). You can check the "referrrals" button on the bottom of a post to see who is linking to that post, skin, article, etc. A big things especially to JJ Ying and Steve Grenier who had very impressive advocacy ratings this month too. To everyone who helps promote and advocate Windows customization - thank you!

Just curious, but what do the top advocates, get in return for their referrals and advocacy? Seems like them bringing that kind of potential purchasing power should get them a free subscription or something.

These years, some skinning sites, especially WinCustomize has become my second home. I do cherish all the thing the communities give me. I really want to stay here forever and see WinCustomize becoming more and more powerful!

We don't get goodies lol. I got them once when I first got in the top 5, and I guess since I haven't moved yet I don't get anymore

I only got one t-shirt when i was first on the list too!!! Anyhow - I updated my physical address with WC - now maybe I'll get some more goodies!
