Bootskins are for running in to tinkle and get a brew. Wallpapers are for viewing while sipping that brew...and then if need be restarting to go and tinkle after the brew.....oh, I think you get it.

Definitely wallpapers. And logons too especially when they match my current wall.

I rarely use bootskins, so wallpapers for me.
