how to get rid of running applications?

i have objectdock installed but i dont want running applications to come up and i cant find anything in the options to turn it off?
anyone know how to?

If you look in Object Dock Properties > Dock Contents, there's an option to uncheck 'Show running tasks on the dock'.

if its the 2 boxes underneath 'Running Application Indicators On Shortcuts' then theyre both unchecked?

If you are running the free version:

Dock Settings > Dock Contents tab > deselect "Dock Taskbar Enabled" > OK.
