CPU and Harddrive Sensor Reading

Saturday, September 24, 2005 by JGSaxon | Discussion: DesktopX Wishlist

I have a laptop and would like to see a widget or Object created that displays the current temperature of my processor and my harddrive. I have no idea of where to start with either. I have a program called Everest that reads the data from the sensor but it would be cool if I can have it sit on my desktop without having to open the program. I know there is a ObjectDock item for sysstats but I am leaning away from object dock and working mainly with DesktopX.

I think that's a great idea...there are plenty of styles of widgets for usage monitoring, but none for temperature monitoring (that I see).
