For magnification, you can do one of the following:

1 - Right-click dock > select Magnification

2 - Right-click dock > Dock Settings > Appearance category > place checkmark in box next to magnification size slider control.

You can also go to the Appearance Tweaks category in Dock Settings, and select the type of animation you want.

If you're referring to the Simple Animation Docklet, it can't be used as a shortcut. It's only there as an example for Docklet developers.

You can also go to the Appearance Tweaks category in Dock Settings,

Right Click on the Dock, Select Dock Settings, on the General Tab choose "Advanced Options" near the bottom is a section for "Advanced Options for Magnifying Docks" these only work on standard docks and not Tabbed Docks.

Thanks for the help! I've saved the instructions for future reference. The animated Wmediaplayer icon works great! Thanks again for the quick response also.
