I would never use the delete key to get rid of my garbage--thats defeats the whole purpose of the Windows GUI.

| But there are no options for removing the recycle bin in windows unless you use tweakui, but if I do that then I lose all functionality of the recycle bin in Object Dock. |
right click desktop - arrrange icons - uncheck show desktop icons

If you are running Windows XP Pro, you can use a group policy to remove the recycle bin:
Start > run > type: gpedit.msc > Enter > User Configuration category > Administrative templates > Desktop > double-click the "Remove recycle bin icon from desktop" option > select Enable > reboot.
To restore recycle bin, repeat procedure and select "Not Configured" default option.

| But now I can't see some of the folders I wanted to keep because just one dock won't hold everything |
create a shortcut to desktop on Objectdock.

I guess you mean you can't drag onto it to delete?
That's a known limitation of OD icons at the moment - they can't be drop targets.
You can still rightclick & empty etc, but not drag onto. not that it's ever been a problem IME. I find the delete key much faster
