Which are you? Active more at night, or in the day?

Nocturnal during my "party" years.

Diurnal before party years, and since about 1990....

Waking up at 3:15 am to shower, shave, breakfast before work sometimes feels like nights, though.

Nocturnal-- made worse by moving back to Eastern time after years on Mtn & Pacific. The jet lag has gone on for 2-3 years now

Not a morning person, at all! That tends to be difficult (at times) since I don't drink coffee, I don't like the way it taste, I do love the aroma!!!!

I wish I was a morning person...Not sure at this stage in my life, if that is changeable!

Ms. Blindbatty, i think most cats and catlovers alike are dormant at daytime.

I know my cats are......
They sleep most of thier life away, seems like a waste.

But they are so loving and wonderful and I always want to know what my kitty is thinking, when she is looking straight at me!

She looks at me, squints her eys and purrs all over me and for that moment, there is nothing else.....

I don't know how people do it sleeping less than 6 hours a day. I suppose its a lot of coffee, which I don't drink. Its no surprise though that most who deprive themselves of sleep usually try and "catch" up.
I have to get at least 6 hours or I'm just not as awake for the day. I prefer 7-8 if I can though.
However in answer to the question I would say I'm diurnal.

I can honetly say, the last 26 hours, I have been both!!!!
1 1/2 hours sleep total!

Not going for a record, just the way the day rolled out and I choose what to do with it. I could have slept, "I think"!!! I will sleep like the dead tonight, not as in "with the fishes" LOL

Well, i experience the same sentiment with my dog. I have to admit i like canines better than felines. But somehow, the dainty, surefooted feline friends are more cuddly and cleaner and more neat!

You are entirly correct!
I don't have dogs, I grew up with a dog, wouldn't ever mistreat one, but they are not my cup of tea!!
High maintence! Don't need that...

I like the independence of cats! Yes, very clean! The eyes I love most!

Changes; can be good, I sleep about an average of 45 hours a week,(I prefer 50 hours) but not bad.

Lately I'm up by 4 am, not at my best, but up. Maybe I was wrong and "I" could become a morning person......na.......I still prefer the night, I only like 4 am, because, "here" it is still dark!

I still love the night, did you all see the harvest moon last night? mid-west, USA, not sure if it was visible to all.

Was stunning and made a late night walk, great.

Sleeping is great, learning that again....Got out of the practice for a while.
