ObjectDock gets covered

I have set my ObjectDock to always be on top but it still gets covered by my other open windows and to get to it I have to click on SHOW DESKTOP to clear everything off the screen and then click on the ObjectDock Icon in order to get it to show up at the top again.
Is there anything I can do to fix this.
