Do any OD apps work on Vista

Wednesday, August 31, 2005 by BoddhiC | Discussion: OS Customization

Besides being a devoted OD and Wincustomize fan, I'm also a MS beta tester. I am running beta one now. I'm just curious if anyone has had success with any of the OD apps on Vista. I must admit I'm a little shy to try them as I fear they may really glitch the Vista install. I saw one post on betanews.microsoft.com of someone who was successfully using Object Bar, not something I use. How about iconpacager or logonstudio or bootskins? I doubt windowblinds is compatible, is it? I tried to search the forums for this info without success. Info would be appreciated

I'm sure the good folks at Stardock are probably working on those same questions as we speak...well actually I bet they're asleep right now, maybe they'll work on it tomorrow...

I've seen screenshots of DX and Icon Packager doing their stuff on Vista. I think there's an internal build of Wb that runs on Vista too.
