anyone has a clue as to why www.samurize.com has the single word "stardock" at its main page and why it seems to be empty?

If this is the true site for samurize, then it appears to be down due to server overload, and lack of donations. Can't help you any further than that, as I never used the program.
I had to use babelfish to get a rough translation ...it's in German.

The Samurize website is hosted by Stardock. No idea why the site can't be accessed by any browser other than IE.
