Free ObjectDock My Computer Docklet

Thursday, August 18, 2005 by ClassicalDude | Discussion: ObjectDock

Hi Everyone,

I have noticed weird behavior of the "My Computer" docklet: once it is opened, it remains marked as an opened application (the little dark triangle on top of the docklet) even after you close the Explorer window. After that, a single click on the docklet does not open Explorer again; a double-click does. Interestingly enough, if you replace explorer.exe in the link line with "My Computer" (no quotation marks), this behavior stops. When you use that link, there is no need for arguments. Any thoughts?

Maybe it because you check the "... and if clicked, shortcut should show currently running..." option at ObjectDock Properties. I also experience the same behaviour when I checked that option. Once I remove it, everything goes as how I want it.

Cheers.
