Update skins

Tuesday, July 19, 2005 by boopish | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Did I do this right? I uploaded two skins, and they were accepted (WHOOO) but Angel noticed that the rainy's didn't attach properly. So I zipped the file and then submitted the zip that had the rainy and the wba file inside making note of the omission. Since this is my first time doing this, I want it to be right. Now I see that both my skins have disappeared from the windowblinds section...is this what usually happens when you make an update? Hopefully I didn't make any other dumb mistakes as I was a bit distracted by the news that my father-in-law is gravely ill. ps.. why weren't the folders zipped into the wba by skin studio? They were inside the skin file and I had checked zip entire folder contents.

When you do an update, the skin goes back into moderation. From my experience, they are usually reapproved fairly quickly though.

Not sure about the folder thing.

Thanks everyone! That was super quick! I noticed too late that I interchanged the comments...so added a note in the comment section rather than uploading again...is that acceptable? Or is there a way to edit one's comments once the skin is submitted?

It seems  comment updates go through the same process...[last I checked]...but you can put them in a comment...or reupdate them...whatever you prefer...
