Boot Skin Prob

Load up

Ok I have a 256MB video card. Everything looks great. But when i have to restart or load up and i see the boot skin it is always in 256 colors. Am I missing something? Did I do something wrong? Why doesnt it look like the one i downloaded? Or is it that you cant get bootskins to load at 32 bit cause its too early for the graphics drivers to be engaged. Any help would be appreciated.

BootSkin still runs on 16 colors 4 bit.
There was some talk about making it run on more colors and a higher bit but no changes have been made.
If the skin doesnt look like the one you downloaded is probably because the person that made the skin used a screenshot of the skin prior to the 16 color conversion.
