Do I Get...

Sunday, July 17, 2005 by KeithMacDonald | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Don't I get advocate points for linking people to Wincustomize?

If so, I've been advertising on this forum thread: http://www.renegade-designs.org/forums/viewtopic.php?p=6926#6926

Also, does this site support BBCode?

The only BBCode like codes it supports is the ones you get when you click the buttons above the reply field. Otherwise it's mostly HTML tagsoup. *shivers*

You have to link to WC pages through your personal site in order to get advocate credit. That's the only way it can be attributed to you.

For example, if I wanted to link to a particular skin and be credited as an advocate, the link would look like this:

http://mikeb314.wincustomize.com/ViewSkin.aspx?LibID=1&SkinID=5179

Notice the address is at mikeb314.wincustomize.com rather than www.wincustomize.com. Personal sites are available to subscribers.
