Applying Themes

How do I change the icons that are displayed in the dock? I've tried to apply themes, but the only theme listed there is 'default'. I've paid, downloaded, and installed the Orion Icon Suite, but it is not listed.

So, that means for each icon that I place in ObjectDock, I have to individually assign an icon image file to each icon that I place in the dock, all of which point to the same theme. This sounds like too much work and defeats the concept of 'themes.' I do have Icon Packagers and use it whenever I want to 'universally' change my 'desktop icon theme.' As you know, I simply 'load' a set of icons (the theme) and click 'apply.' But, this does not affect the icons that ObjectDock chooses to use.
Do you mean to say that ObjectDock does not provide a means to apply an entire theme of icons (such as those included with Orion) from which ObjectDock will automatically assign to icons that I place in the Dock?

This means that you first place (or copy) the images to the ObjectDock sub-directory ("C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Images" folder) - then you create your dock by selecting a location on screen for dock, assigning a background for it, adding content (system links, application links, URL's, docklets, etc.), selecting images from the sub-directory for the content, then use the Save Theme as.. button in "Dock Settings" (found by right-click dock > Dock Settings) dialog to save the theme.
This will write a theme (".ini") file to both the Themes folder in ObjectDock sub-directory, and to cache so the OS will store the information and ObjectDock will load the theme automatically when started (either manually, or at startup, if you have selected that option in the Dock Settings dialog).
Each time you save a theme, it will write to both the sub-directory, and over-write cache.

If you have Icon Packager installed, it will install to "C:\Program Files\Stardock\IconPackager\Themes" folder (where "C" is the letter drive).
I have not tried to install it without Icon Packager, so I am not sure where it will install to without IconPackager on machine.
In either case, you will need to locate the folder containing the Orion icon images, and copy the images you want to "C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Images" folder (or copy each Orion folder to "C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock" folder).
You should then be able to right-click the dock entry > Dock Entry Properties > click Change Image button to pick an image from the ObjectDock sub-directory.
You can also use Icon Developer Link, which has a shareware (free) version that will allow you to open any Icon (.ico file), or Icon Library (.icl file), and export the icon image as a ".png" image file (which is the preferred file type for dock icons due to image quality).
If you use this method, just save the ".png" image file to the "C:\Program Files\Stardock\ObjectDock\Images" folder.
Note - if you can not locate the Orion folders (try search function first), I would suggest uninstalling them > reboot machine > reinstall (paying close attention to the install location so you can find them).
