PLZ HELP

ok im not sure why, but windows blinds will not startup, when i say this i mean the actual program. Only the standard windows theme will. I have tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but still does the same thing. I have know idea what to do know and i would really appreciate if someone could help me.It is the free version, and when i install a skin it just opens up WB and i am able to use it, but its when i restart the computer WB will not start up with it, and i did get this from stardock central.

If Wb is set to the default skin, it won't run (kinda of an all or nothing off switch) - if you have theme mgr open and and then pick a wb skin - once it installs you should be good to go

umm ya ur right but its not set to the default the program will not even startup at all.

A few questions - Are you using the free version? What happens when you try to install a skin *.wba file? Did you install the program through Stardock Central? Does it show up as a button ("Windowblinds") on the Display Properties Appearance Tab? Is there any skins listed under "Windows and Buttons"?

On the Display Properties - Themes Tab it should say "Windows XP (Modified)"

Hey I need some help...I had the same problem as that one guy, but I don't know his or her name. Anyway, I downloaded the free version of "WindowBlinds"....I installed it and it does show up on the bottome right corner...it has the icon yes..I double click it, it brings me to "Windowblinds Advance Configuration". Then I go to "My skin" and I select "Blackcomb Dark" because it's easy on my eyes. The problem is....I can't seem to make it into my permanent background or whatever you call it "Theme"...My original theme was "Windows Classic Style"...now it's "Blackcomb Dark"....Right now I'm in "Display Properties" window. I click on "Appearance Tab" and I select "Blackcomb Dark" I then click on "Apply" and then "OK"....I log of my computer and I log back on. It changes back to my original theme which is "Windows Classic Style" How do I make "Blackcomb Dark" permanent?.....I tried so many things and I'm running out of options. Here's what I did:

I double clicked on "Windowblinds" icon. It brings me to "Windowblinds Advance Configuration" I then go to "My Skin" and I click on "install Skin from web" It brings me to the "homepage"...I search for "Blackcomb"...it comes up for you to download and It's made "GreenReaper"...I download it and I save it. Then message box appears on the "Windowblinds" icon...saying that "There's a new skin downloaded in Windowblinds"...Great...now I go back to "Start" > "Control Panel" > "Display" > "Appearance" > "Windows and Buttons" > then I select "Blackcomb" > "Color Scheme" > I select "Blackcomb Dark" > then I click on "Apply" and it changes into the "THEME".....GREAT....I click on ok...I restart my computer and I log back in...It changes back to my original "Windows Classic Style"....So how do I make "Blackcomb Dark" permanent....When I downloaded the file "Blackcomb"...and when I open it...It is a "wba" file...Anyway can you guys please help me on this...
