Windowblinds Registration Prompt

Wednesday, July 13, 2005 by Dvak the User | Discussion: WindowBlinds

Everytime I start up my computer now, I get a prompt asking me to purchase WindowBlinds from Stardock. Now, I enjoy WindowBlinds a lot, but I don't want to buy it (plus, my dad wouldn't let me if I asked). I noticed several .dll files in the WindowBlinds folder on the hard drive, so my question is: does anyone know if deleting one of them will stop the purchase prompt window from coming up? If it can, do they know which one to delete? And, am I even allowed to do that sort of thing? I don't want the program seizing up on me or anything.

I can live with it, I'd just like to know if I *have* to. Thanks.

The point of the prompt is to get you to buy the software, allowing you to delete or somehow stop it would defeat the purpose.
