hey, im using an all-white wallpaper now with a small black figure in the center, however my desktop icon text remains white for some reason. does anyone know why its doing this? it is very frustrating since i cant see anything. how can i change it? (i thought windows does it automatically depending on the wall...)

The only thing you can do with XP is either have a color square or not have a color square around the letters. If you would like a color square around the letters right click on the desktop then arrange icons by, and check the Lock web items on desktop. Then go to control panel, then appearance and themes, then click display. Click on desktop and change the little color bar that is on the right side of the panel near the bottom to whatever color you want.
