MagicPink Problem

Pink is showing up in WindowBlinds

Wednesday, June 22, 2005 by WebGizmos | Discussion: WindowBlinds

Can anyone tell me why and/or how to stop the magicpink color from appearing in WindowBlinds. This was not always problem, but today I noticed on a few buttons after clicking on them that they are now showing the magicpink.

Is this with the same skin loaded? One day working, the next day not? Sometimes you have to check, with SkinStudio, to see if the translucency option has been checked or the transparent option or both. I'm really sorry, I don't remember which is supposed to be checked, but you can play around or wait until someone shows up who knows.

Transparent should be check for bitmap images that use magic pink, Translucency is for tga images that use transparency.

So far it has just been with the UniverseMetal skin. But this just now started happening, I've used the skin before and it never did this. And it only seems to be on certain button such as in Display properties. If I click on appearance...the buttons next to the drop downs all go pink when clicked on. The if I go back a few minutes later it seems to have been fixed...but then does it again on the next click.

Sometimes right click on system tray icon and reloading skin clears up magic pink issues.
Not able to test skin as I have not purchased it.

Using XP? I have the same problems on my Win2K box with some skins that use translucency for skin images - I could be mistaken, but I'm thinking maybe Win2K does not support translucency - the same skins look as they should on my XP box.
