Removing Hotkeys, other issues
Tuesday, June 21, 2005 by Chronologix | Discussion: DesktopX
i am using the Tronnix theme with both windows blinds and desktopX, but i know that DesktopX has some hotkeys set for F9 and some other buttons, but i cannot find where i can change or remove this hotkey (i need it for other programs, and everytime it is pressed it minimized the applciation and returns to desktop)
As well, i noticed that when i press F9 it randomly lets my mouse go "over" the taskbar and DesktopX objects (otherwise the cursor will disappear behind the top and bottom bars, i am still able to click the buttons on the taskbar, but am not always sure that the cursor is on the button i want)
So what i need to know is:
a.)how to remove the hotkeys from DesktopX.
b.)allow the cursor to always be on top of the DesktopX Objects.

1.) for the "Tronnix" theme, whenever i set a target for the internet, etc., quicklaunch buttons, it is reset every time my computer is restared/shutdown, is there a way that these buttons can save their target locations?
2.)when i first installed the theme everything worked fine except for my first 2 issues (after i restarted my computer it fixed the mouse-over problem, and you helped me fix the hotkey problem) but now AFTER i restarted my computer it gives me an error "Stardock MCP cannot be found, or wrong version" and i can no longer use any icons in the systray.
