In-game screen-captures are hardly the stuff of great walls. The horrendously large 'picture frame' detracts significantly, and 5 meg is a lot to DL for walls all of which are one [odd] resolution.
The most commonly used resolutions are 1024x768 and 1280x1024. All these were neither....

I looked...but was not 'amazed'. Screencaptures in-game 'can' be amazing....the first public release of shots from Doom3 certainly were....but they were on high-end graphics machines specifically displaying the potential for detail, etc.
These Guild Wars screencaps may be better than Wolfenstein 3D but then that was many years ago....

GSW...I'm 'bashing' neither.
What I'm doing is called 'educating'. Screencaptures rarely make good images for much of anything other than promoting the game itself....
