Remove and re-install OD
Wednesday, June 15, 2005 by newtek | Discussion: ObjectDock
I removed OD completely from my ssytem and re-installed but I keep gettting my orignal layout, instead of the default one (including the tab menu) as per my very first install
3. I ran regedit and removed all instances of stardock, an dObjectdock, and ensured the stardock folder was actually deleted.
4. re-installed but same thing happens...same layout as per the one I setup and not the orignal default setup..which is what I am looking for
5. ran REgistry mechanic and same problem
what entry(s) are remaing in the registry that I cannot find that will permit a clean install of Objectdock and have the original default tabs and od icons

Have you deleted the ObjectDockPlus folder in "C:\Documents and Settings\"user name"\Local Settings\Application Data\Stardock" folder (where "C" is the letter drive, and "user name" is the name on the account when logged in)?
Just unload ObjectDock > delete the ObjectDockPlus folder listed above, restart ObjectDock. This should force ObjectDock to load the default theme.
Note - if you can't see "Local Settings" listed above, open My Computer, and go to "Tools > Folder Options > View tab, then select "Show hidden files and folders" and click "Apply".
I hope this helps.
