Windowblinds crashes explorer

I have win xp sp2 loaded and wb 4.51 build 204. have tried the new 4.59 beta too. Start up system. Click on the Start Menu, pick my computer, windows explorer comes up (almost) then bam explorer crashes and reloads. I can also just pick my computer, my documents from the desktop and the same thing happens. uninstalling window blinds fixes this dilemna. reinstall and it comes back. does this on a couple different machines, different hardware, same o/s. any help would be appreciated.
