Bug or what?

Wednesday, June 8, 2005 by Cyberworld | Discussion: WinCustomize Site Issues

Okay i don't get this, but i think there might be a bug in this new option for accepting a skin into your personal site only.

Problem is the following. Although i don't check the option still some skins that do pass moderation appear only in my personal site.
I'm talking about the following two skins:
Knocking On Heaven's Door: Link
Blue Matrix: Which i don't know its whereabouts these days. It used to be accepted and shown only in personal site for awhile, then it got moved back to modetation, now i don't know it's disappered from moderation,no e-mail has been sent except the acceptance e-mail on the first days.

Please Jafo or T-Man help. Do i need to re-upload anything? And what about this new option? It seems to me that it randomly selects to turn itself on and off! It's kinda getting me crazy for the past few days. Any word would be apprecciated.

The option to make a work 'Personal page' only is handled by the Moderator/s.  If a submission is somewhere between [1] normally accepted publicly [as of old] and [2] rejected, then the third option is there to allow it, but only on the personal page....and the Moderator can set that....

Still some inquiries Jafo:

A. Why is there available the option to set the skin to be viewed in personal pages only in the Upload form?

B. If a skin is rejected and then accepted only to your personal libraries could you at least mention that in the confirmation e-mail that is sent?

C. If a skin is accepted only for personal pages it starts with a 0 Rating?

D. Do you have the time to take a look at what happened with the skins i mentioned?

Thank you very very much for the quick reply.

A, B, and C .....probably down to it being a new feature....a few things to sort...

D.... shall look....a little later today....real life [tm] is in the way at the moment...

Hello, theres seems to be some sort of bug. I've recently submitted a wall called "STONE" which was accepted, heres the http://dezin.wincustomize.com/default.aspx?SID=6216&UID=1647945 as you can see, there is more download with a higher rating then what is displayed in the public wallpaper section. Here's the http://dezin.wincustomize.com/viewskin.aspx?skinid=23604&libid=8&comments=1&SID=6216&UID=1647945 any clue to what happened? thanks

Hey DEZIN i rated your wall with ***** just a couple of minutes ago. Maybe that changed things a bit in your personal site while in public site it's yet to be updated!

Could somebody tell me if walls approved for personal pages only are rated differently than ones approved for public diplay? By that I mean is a different standard of judging applied to the 2 different acceptances after they have been designated to public or private? Thanks.
