Tabbed docks getting moved by resolution changes

Tuesday, June 7, 2005 by Zugg | Discussion: ObjectDock

I run a bunch of games that change the resolution of my desktop. Normally my desktop is 1400x1050, but games change it to 800x600 or 1024x768 typically.

Now, whenever the game exits and my normal resolution is restored, ALL of my horizontal tab docks along the bottom of the screen get moved to the left-most edge of the screen.

Turning on the Lock Position option doesn't help at all.

Is this a bug or something can I can fix? I have 3 tabbed docks and this is VERY annoying. In fact, it makes the example of vertical "drawers" impossible to actually use in real life. Seems like ObjectDock can monitor system resolution changes and restore dock positions.

Oh, I should mention that this is using the latest version of the paid ObjectDock Plus, and is on a laptop running Windows XP SP2. Please help!

Happens to me as well when running games...no SP2. I just move it back.

I've had the same problem also, it seems there should be a auto center option depending on your resolution, or a lock down function that would lock the dock to one place. STARDOCK, R U Listening. Get this fixed, it's annoying!!!!
