Laggy icons?

I've noticed that when I double click icons like My Computer, Recycle Bin, and other folders that they come up more slowly then when I click on the normal desktop icons. Is this normal?

Also when I try to hide desktop icons by right clicking on my backround my wallpaper gets a little distorted. Anyone have any idea what's wrong?

Maybe the double clicking is causing OD to try and figure out whether you want 1 or 2 instances.

Single click on OD seems to work fine.

Wallpaper - distorted in what way?
