Save Domestic Horses

Time is very short. Please send the letter to you local Reps available thru this link.

There is only one or 2 day's left to sign a petition urging the lawmakers to pass the Sweeney-Spratt Agriculture amendment to stop horse slaughter. Retired show horses and pregnant horses are just 2 of the many different horses being inhumanely slaughtered here in the states for human consumption in Europe and Asia. They deserve much better. Please act now. It will only take a few minutes. All those who participated in my last call to action helped make the difference and stopped a bill proposal to allow the shooting of cats at will in Wisconsin. Every response helps. Just click on the picture of the horses, and any others you may want to help. Thank you so much.

Noble cause. Hope you get alot of helpful responses. I for one will support the cause and sign the petition. I'd also like to point out a similiar cause which helps feed animals in the SPCA and local pounds. Please note it in your links, a little bit goes a long way (no money just a click) LINK: www.theanimalrescuesite.com

Ooops. Sorry I can't vote. Have to be in the Descionmakers district!

Hi! Thanks for responding. I'm not sure what you mean about the link part or the vote. I know about theanimalrescuesite. I have a thread with that link in my home pages. I posted it awhile back, but no one responded that I know of, cos no one left a message.
I don't understand why you weren't allowed to send your local reps the letter available through my link. If I have mis understood anything you said, please let me know. And thanks alot.

Just signed the petition clwoods. It's truly a noble cause. Horses are one of my favorite animals, a symbol of strenght, family, loyalty and nobleness of the free and wild soul.I prefer to see them wild and free and die with the head up,not being slaughtered in such inhumane way.Thnx for the information on this matter.Really appreciate what you are doing around this site.

Thank you, Developer Cyberworld. That is quit a nice compliment. I am very touched by your statement. You hit the nail on the head in your description of the horse. They are the most magnificant animal on earth to me. Thank you so much for sending the letter. I just got my letter from the society today, or I would have put this up sooner. How soon people forget that this magnificant animal was our first mode of transportation after our own feet. Thank you.

You are very sweet. Thank you so much. I think that there was alot of traffic on the site yesterday. I had to submit twice to get it through. I was getting an error that said "there is no Data source" or something to that nature. Again, thank you so much. I will update with the result on the vote. Take care and God Bless. Cindi

If you REALLY want to do something positive and noble.....look upon Japan with much disfavour as they take it upon themselves to increase their Whale slaughter 'quota'.

You want something vile and disgusting?

Knock yourselves out.

Oh...

BTW....it's for SCIENCE......YOU KNOW, THEY WANT TO KNOW HOW WELL THEY DIE.

In truth...they eat them.....probably ran out of Tigers' testicles again.

That isn't the half of it. They also boil cats alive. They are still alive when they are taken out, and then they skin them so they can have "fresh cat meat on their plate". They do it right there in the restraunts. That makes me want to go there and...
I also think anything we do for the animals, any animal is a positive!

Signed the petition for the horses...now is there something that can be done about the whales? Isn't each country allowed to "take" only so many whales???

Thanks alot Barb. I didn't know about the whales. Maybe Jafo knows of something. It is discusting. People think that getting attacked by animals is so bad. I think it is pay back for all the horrid things mankind has done to them. Thanks again.

Hi C, I have been trying to sign the petition with no luck, I will keep trying. I hate reading this stuff about animal abuse, and we should always try to do the right thing by the animals, as we are the most damaging one to walk on this planet. You know how I feel about the horses, and in general I love animal kingdom but people as we all know will do anything for money, it's always about the buck. If we could live this life without having such a greedy attitude to be wealthy than it would all be very different. As soon as something has a high price and potential to earn big bucks there will always be people willing to do anything to get it.
Hope this noble work that you do for all sorts of animals is succesful and I think you are just fantastic.

LYCB.

C, I can't do a damn thing firsty I am Australian secondly I am late I think. Either way I hope people in the Senate are noble for once and stop this lunacy of killing animals in such a way next they will do it to the humans who have passed the use by date and are costing the society.

Where exactly do I sign the petition?

Just don't mention seals. Trust me. It's not a good idea around this place.

The Skins Factory donates money each year to various animal rights charities. This year we donated to PetSmart Charities and PETA. Last year we donated to PetSmart Charities and ChimpHaven. So i'm glad to see other people are taking up the cause of animals rights. Keep up the good work.

Cindi, I can't vote either as you know I'm Canadian but I'm crossing my fingers and toes on this, I hope this stops the slaughter!! I want it to end here in Canada too, there's too much bs in this country, it's like the killing fields up here.....anything goes!! The meat buyers go to auctions, they pretend to be interested in riding(liars) bid&buy a few horses and off they go, shipped off to Fort McLeod and await their grusome end(I've seen the pictures)These guys even go to private sellers and pretend..... it's just sicking. This is a worthy cause, so keep fighting til it's changed! The whales, seals and many other innocent animals need our help.......WE ARE THEIR VOICE!!

Thanks so much Tina, Skinner Kona, The Skins Factory, and Carolelee. I really appreciate your good hearts and response. This has already passed the first step. Now it must pass the Senate. I have an updated thread to this. Here is the link http://clwoods.wincustomize.com/articles.aspx?aid=77821&SID=5497&UID=1751489
You can still be part of it by calling your state Senators and tell them to support the
Sweeney-Spratt bill. This will be a harder victory. Thanks so much, and tell your friends!

And a special thank to you The Skins Factory for helping the Pet Smarts. I am a volunteer at a local no kill shelter that adopts all our dogs and cats through them!
God Bless you all!
