Never understood this saying.
No mortal has a shot of ruling in Hell.
There is only one ruler in Hell & he still answers to another.
Still since we're talking Jedi/Dark Side - I'd do as always, walk the line.

Jedi can do the lightning stuffs too 
Near as I can tell, besides the obvious dark side means you're evil, the "light/good/whatever" side means you're not, but more importantly decides whether you look cool or not. Face it, dark side has much better taste in apparel.
