Do you eat at your PC?

Saturday, May 14, 2005 by Sleeping Dragon | Discussion: WinCustomize Talk

Boss' comments on a different thread made me think of this. I eat almost all of my meals, that I eat at home, at my PC. It's a real trick to keep crumbs out of the keyboard. Does anyone else do this?

Double Zero...That still looks pretty good! Hell...that's an even better setup than the one I posted...padded seat and all. And that's important for us old farts...can't be having the legs fall asleep.

I eat my meals with Mom at the kitchen table, unless she is away then I eat at my puter, which is where I spend most of my time!! As for crumbs in the keyboard, I vacuum the keyboard about once a month!!!

...gotta find me a seat like that. I could do without the phone. Nobody would appreciate talking to me in there.

a hospital commode chair works real well at the desktop, and wearing a babys plastic bib with food catcher for the crumbs works well

Actually I am jealous of you ALL!! I DONT GET TO EAT MY MEALS AT THE PC AT ALL!! Imagine that? I am out first thing in the AM and I dont return until after lunch and dinner is spent at the family table (because ya gotta make the kids eat there or the women would implode or some such thing) so all I may get is a qwik cup of coffee and toast or an english muffin maybe once in a good while before I run out for the day!
Oh and BTW..................... THAT PIC THAT DOUBLEZERO HAS ABOVE was originally taken on Bill Gates Airplane!

ROTFL!!! Yup, eat here when everyone is at work and it's just me and the cats!! Have to share the space with Zoe, however! She thinks the 'puter is hers!! Don't use a chair, sit on my exercise ball..it's better for my sciatica! Plus I can lie and say yup, I exercised if I roll back and forth and do a little balancing while I am busily churning out mo' better blinds!! Have to vaccum my keyboard once a week just to get the cat hair off it! And learned my lesson about open bevies at the 'puter when Zoe cleared the decks and nearly zapped my 'puter! Now it's bevies in bottles with a pop top!! Supper time (or Dinner, if you are the civilized type) is usually eaten in front of the tv with Hubby when he gets home! Sometimes we even use the dining table (GASP) and our son graces us with his presence - he is usually holed up in his room working on his 'puter( He is currently going to college and learning animation and game design).
