Painter IX problems
Sunday, April 17, 2005 by MikkoHimanka | Discussion: WindowBlinds
I've been using the shareware version WindowBlinds 4.5 for a while now and been pretty satisfied with it.
I've encountered one problem though: My Corel Painter IX doesn't seem to understand the new UI (skin: Kewk-HoE Compact). I can't minimize or close the program from the window's upper-right corner and some of the menu texts seem to appear in their original places instead of the place the skin tells them to be.
Do I have this problem, cause my WindowBlinds is a shareware, or what?
thanks.

It is not a problem with the WindowBlinds version (I have the same issue with the full version).
It seems to be the way PainterIX handles drawing the titlebar buttons.
I use the Configure WindowBlinds > Per Application > Add per application button > navigate to PainterIX.exe file > select and click "Open" button > select "Total Exclusion - ignore this application and do not skin it > click "OK" > click "Apply changes" on left of panel.
I hope this helps.
