How do you align the icons in the tabbed dock?

How do you align the icons in the tabbed dock to be centered instead of left

There is no actual alignment setting for the docks like you would find in a word processing program.
You can adjust the size of the dock by dragging and edge. This will center the dock contents as a whole. You can also adjust the order of the icons by dragging them on the dock.
Note - make sure the "Lock Icon Dragging" and "Lock Dock Position" items are not selected (right-click a tab > View > Lock...).

There is no 'center icons' setting as such.
